Samantha is Executive Director of Rosa, the first and only UK-wide Fund for Women and Girls. Rosa exists to mobilise resources for women’s rights and gender equality. Recent work includes a collaboration with British actors to set up the new Justice and Equality Fund, tackling harassment in the UK and inspired by #metoo and Time’s Up. Samantha has held senior roles with the Lottery, Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund, Comic Relief and London Funders and has been responsible for government and charitable funds including the £180M Lottery Fare Share scheme and the £20M Homeless Transition Fund. Her work at the Diana Fund led to a new UN Disarmament Treaty and won a UK award for innovation and leadership in grant-making. More recently, her success in developing cross-sector collaborations has resulted in a ten-fold increase in grant funding for the women’s organisations Rosa supports and several new programmes.
